I have a Pulse…

So that must mean I’m alive, right? I could debate all night the pros and cons of that statement. But, I don’t want to. I want to have a nice, simple post. Something that reflects the opposite of how I’ve been feeling lately. Something upbeat, bouncy, with a bit of humor. But to write that, I have to feel that. And I don’t exactly not feel that way, I’m just pretty sure that I don’t. So, I need to change that.

There has been some great news in my little circle of internet friends. Good news that calls for celebrating, whether you know these people or not. The first is that Amy’s son has been declared 100% cancer free. This news tops my list of holiday cheer. Nothing is better than hearing that a child is ok, except for being of the mother of that child and hearing the news. Next up is Sheila. She somehow managed to get herself a brand spanking pretty new blog site. Nope, she had no help at all. Hehe, I managed to type that without bursting into giggles. Then I have my dear Sarah, who managed to finish a really crappy semester at school and remain nervous breakdown free! And to my beautiful friend Aravis, who lost someone close to her recently and also is finishing up a tough semester at school. And to Janelle, who’s baby just turned the big 5, which always calls for a celebration.

All of these good things has brought me back out into the light. It makes me realize that life goes on and that good things do happen. It reminds me ot look at this time of year through the eyes of my children. My stress affects Taylor most fo all, and I can’t and won’t do that to her. At 13, she has enough drama to deal with. And Seth, my little monster man. I love to look at the world through his eyes. I have seen so many things for the first time and its been great.

I hope that all of you are enjoying this time fo year. Hugs to all of you:)

Hey, we all go through rough patches. The important part is to move on, and like I recently wrote: “If life gives you lemon, make lemon drops”. Or something like that.

Hugs right back at you, kiddo. ;-)

Yes it is good to try seeing the better side of things, helps us be happier. Chin up and hugs!

I think there is something to be said about winter and it bringing out our “dark and twisty” side. Its hard to remain happy 24/7 when the days are cut short due to a nighttime sky and our mornings are cold, foggy and damp. And for you- add snow on top of it all and it’s just the perfect storm for our happy side to say “F it! I’m going back to bed!”

I 100% promise you that the sun will shine again :)

PS- You are a bright spot in my day, everyday!

Awwwww….you’re so sweet and gushy. I love it.

BUT I do believe that I detected a little bit of sarcasm in regards to my awesome new template. I should totally choose to be offended by that. Aw damn – who am I kidding? The troof is da troof and pretty much everyone knows that I suck with all of that stuff so why try and fake it? LOL

    xoxo

I’m sorry you are stressed or not feeling 100% bouncy and bubbly!

I hope you know that you were a huge RELIEF during that very scary rough week at UCLA and how awesome you made me feel just because you cared enough to take the time to respond to my questions. You made going through hell a lot easier and you sure didn’t have to. I can’t thank you enough for that.

Merry Christmas to you and yours, I hope you find relief for your stress very soon and if I can help, please don’t hesitate to ask.
